Men in New York city take more fashion choices than most of the places I've been. Here are some examples:
I was walking down the sidewalk the other day, when I saw a man wearing a pink polo and pale blue seersucker shorts.
I was checking out at Top Shop, and I noticed that the sales clerk (male) was wearing suspenders clipped to a pair of women's pleated indigo pants. (I know they were women's pants because Top Shop had the same pants on sale, and I'd just spent a great deal of time eyeing the pants in pink, which sadly did not come in my size.)
I was at the pharmacy waiting for the druggist to ring me up, when I saw a genie walk by. I mean, a man. He was wearing all white linen-- short sleeve button down and loose pants. And then he had a pair of blue suede shoes that curved up over the toes. He looked like the genie from Aladdin.
I was exiting the subway the other day, when I noticed the man on the stairs in front of me had a pair of periwinkle blue pants on-- the color was a cross between blue and lavender. And he had a matching stripped button down. Then I noticed he had grey hair.
