Sometimes I feel like I live in a giant mall. This makes me so happy.
Within a 5 minute walk of my house there is a: J. Crew, Sephora, GAP, Banana Republic, LOFT and a Borders. Plus there are lots of fun stores like Coach, William and Sonoma, an Apple store, Whole Foods, Urban Outfitters, and Pottery Barn. And at least 3 Starbucks. And this bakery-- Bouchon Bakery-- which has the most amazing macaroons. The frosting in the middle tastes like icecream.
A few days ago, I took the subway to Harold Square-- about 3 subways stops away. I walked out of the subway and looked around and thought "This is what every out-door mall in America is trying to imitate." It was awesome-- all my favorite stores lining the streets. Except Anthropology. I still haven't found Anthropology yet.
