RESUME WORKOUT
The big, red block letters on the exercise machine taunted me. My muscles sore and aching, I slowed down to what I considered an acceptable pace to recoup. The machine didn't think so. It flashed its message again: RESUME WORKOUT. Apparently, my idea of an acceptable pace is too slow to be recognized by the machine's computer.
I joined a gym a couple weeks ago, with my roommate. I felt fat like I had gained 5 or 10 lbs in the last week. Ick, I thought. I need to lose weight.
My first instinct was to stop eating-- to cut back to 1 meal a day again. But Rachel likes to tell me this isn't healthy. And unless I am very upset, I get too hungry to keep that up for more than about 6 hours.
Then, I decided I could go to the gym and try working out. As an added bonus, after working out for about 20 minutes, I stopped being quite so angry at my boss. I stopped cursing in my head at him, at least. Which is a good start.

Is that why you got sworn in? So you could mentally swear at your boss? Must be a connection there somewhere ...
