Happy

I expected to be miserable when New Years hit. You know-- the whole single on significant holidays thing, everyone says that you should be miserable. But I wasn't. I was incredibly happy. Sometimes it's enough to be me. Even though everyone says you have to be part of a couple to be happy, I think it's more important to find the happiness within you, and take that with you wherever you go. Yes, be happy when you are in a relationship, but not because that person MAKES you be happy, but because you are inherently happy. This means that you can be happy when you are single too. It doesn't mean that you don't want more out of your life, but it means being sure enough of yourself that you can be happy being you.
